Join A Study
Do you long to deepen your devotion to God and His Word? You are invited to join a quiet time study. What makes these studies different than most? They are more than a study, more than a devotional - they’re all about quiet time. Imagine having your own personal tutor in quiet time. Just open these books along with your Bible, and Catherine will walk you through your quiet time. Each day, with one of the books of quiet times from either the Quiet Times For The Heart series or A Quiet Time Experience series, you will be encouraged to draw near to God. All you need is your Bible and one of these studies for a rich time alone with the Lord. Then, the 30 day journey series will take you on an adventure, day by day, to help you grow in your relationship with the Lord.
The Quiet Times For The Heart series includes the following quiet time studies: Pilgrimage Of The Heart (quiet times in the Psalms), Revive My Heart (quiet times on personal, spiritual revival), A Heart That Dances (quiet times on intimacy with God), A Heart On Fire (quiet times all about Jesus), and A Heart To See Forever (quiet times in the book of Revelation).
The Quiet Time Experience series includes the following quiet time studies: A Heart That Hopes In God (quiet times on hope in the Psalms), Run Before The Wind (quiet times on life in the Spirit in the book of Acts), Trusting In The Names Of God (quiet times on the names and attributes of God), and Passionate Prayer (quiet times on prayer).
The 30 Day Journey series includes the following quiet time devotional studies: Six Secrets To A Powerful Quiet Time (all about how to have a quiet time), Knowing And Loving The Bible (all about how to grow a deeper love for God’s Word), Walking With The God Who Cares (all about how to find hope in the promises of God), Set My Heart On Fire (all about the power of the Holy Spirit), Trusting In The Names Of God (all about the names of God), and Passionate Prayer (all about how to grow in your life of prayer).
Cath’s Community is a place where you can join in one of these studies no matter where you are in the world. Each study featured here offers a blog where the leader posts weekly and then study participants can comment and share what they are learning. There are two ways these studies are offered: On Your Own or On Location. The On Your Own way means that you will study, day by day, according to the schedule set by the leader. Then you will read the post(s) on the blog designated for your study (just look for the Study name and leader). Finally, you can read comments from those in your group and share what you are learning. The On Location studies are held at a church, home (or other location) and the group meets weekly according to the schedule set by the leader. The exciting part of all of this is that you can join in that study even if you don’t live in the area. You can still come here to Cath’s Community and read blog posts, comments, and share what God is teaching you.
To join a study, simply go to the Current Studies link and read through the studies that are being offered. Email the leader of the one you’d like to join to let the leader know you are part of the group. Then, you may order the book online at our Quiet Time Ministries bookstore or from the leader (if it is an On Location study where the books are available at the meeting place).
