I am thrilled that you have chosen to take this journey this summer with me in seeking greater intimacy with God in your quiet time through A Heart that Dances!” LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN!!!!
I hope that you have your book and are ready to begin! If not, you can check with the Women’s Ministries office (Kelly @ 440-1802 ext 3235) to see if there are any still available, and if not, you can purchase your book directly from www.quiettime.org. It will be a well worth it adventure, even if you have to begin a little behind schedule. I have provided the suggested schedule, but you are ON-YOUR-OWN to go through the book at your own pace. You can follow the provided schedule, or juggle it to fit around your summer vacation and work week, with target completion date of August 6th! Feel free to start as soon as you get your book!!!
I will keep in contact weekly and encourage your reciprocal sharing as well! Though the internet is not a necessity in this study, it will enhance because of the way that it will connect you with others who are doing the same study! I plan to be your “cheerleader” as you travel through! Be sure to carve out time to enjoy this experience! It will not happen without an intentional goal to do so.
Mark August 6th on your calendar now!! We will celebrate ALL-TOGETHER on August 6th. This will be an “evening with the author” to remember! What a treat to meet Catherine and be encouraged by her passion for quiet time, and then get first dibs at her newest book hot off the press, A Woman’s Heart that Dances – her personal testimony of her dance with the Lord since a very young age!
Feel free to come to this blog anytime and “comment” on what God is showing you through this journey! There are 150 women doing this quiet time with you — your comments may be an encouragement to someone along the way!
Pick your time and place in your 24 hour day, and be amazed as you sit at His feet!

Debbie, I’m so excited about this study and can’t wait to share in the journey of A Heart That Dances. May our hearts all dance with the Lord.
Love,
Catherine
Oh my goodness! I am sooo excited. I couldn’t help it - i started already. well, since I have, i have shred it with my husband (We are using it in the morning together) and my daughter (She and i are going on a 5 week road trip to canada and she wants to do it with me during the trip) and with my son, believe it or not, my 17 year old son enjoyed the first chapter. i love the way it flows, i love the verses and the complete responsibility we have for drawing near to God. We are not spoon fed answers etc. THANK YOU!!!!!
Debbie,
I am so happy about this study. It sounds so restful and I need and want that now.. It will create a time for me to relax and just focus on God and beauty.
Thank you so much, Nancy
I decided to do this study to refresh my soul this summer. My summer is so full of commitments this year. Goal for my son and myself. Unlike many women who will be taking time off, i am moving into a very busy schedule. However i look forward to learning to perfect my DANCE with God through this study. I need to continue learning how to depend on God instead of depending on my processes. On this journey we call life, i need a constant reminder that He is in control. My prayer for all my sisters in this study is “I Hope You Dance”.
Debbie,
Thank you for leading us in this study. I felt a need to join with the hope that I could do more than just carve out time with the busy-ness of life, to more fully “be” with my Father. To grow closer and closer to Him…and I have to tell you that the quiet time sounds heavenly. Looking forward to the depth of what we will be learning and where we will going together…
Debbie, I love how BIG you think and you don’t even realize it. This will be a wonderful summer doing this together online with Catherine and all of us. I have started already and am loving it. Thank you for drawing us closer to the Lord with your contagious excitement to sit at His feet. What a joy it is to study under your leadership and watch how God uses you. You are truly a blessing to me. Thank you for your obedience to the Lord and serving Him in all the ways you do.
Hello Debbie,
Thank you for your time to lead us together as we reach out for God’s hand that is always waiting and longing for us to set and abide with Him! Since the Fall I’ve been using the book “Praying the Names of God” and using a great Journal book that has you use a verse of scripture with your prayer and these together have been a lot of help for me to grow closer with the Lord during my one on one’s with our God Almighty. Looking forward to joining along with you and the others to grasp this opportunity that the Lord has for us this Summer. Thanking the Lord in advance for His many blessings that will come from this time spent with Him.

What a beautiful way to learn and get to know our God. This has already been such a blessing for me with my mother sharing in the experience from out of state and new friends sharing their joy and exceitment for the journey. I look forward to Gods wonders as I draw closer to Him.
Debbie- Thank-You for putting this study together….Your faithfulness has blessed many!!!
Debbie:
Thank you for your email. And a big thank you to my daughter-in-law, Becky, for inviting me to participate in this Bible study. I am looking forward to sharing this experience with her and with others.

Hi Debbie;

I’m so excited! I have been seeking a more intimate relationship with God, yet I could not find enough time for myself and Him alone. I decided that I wasn’t going to do any kind of bible studies or college courses this summer so that I could work on “our relationship”. I was just so surprised when Debbie asked me to do a bible study, my first instinct was to say no, until she began to outline what was included in this study, I think it really was a huge sign from God himself to encourage me and send me on the right path! I am eager to learn how to live with a new intimate relationship with God! God bless!
As very busy, working mom and wife, I often lose my time with the Lord to the daily duties of life. I am looking forward to more intentionally carving out that quiet time and learning to protect it like I should. I can’t commit to meeting with people in person on a weekly basis, but this something that I can do.
Debbie
Thank you so much for your time and efforts so that many can be blessed. I look forward to sharing Gods word with my daughter Tracy and meeting others, through this on line study. What a great way to use the internet…to glorify God.
I work at Shadow Mountain, and I sing in the choir. I also attend a small group with my husband, so my week is pretty full. Lately, I’ve been feeling the need to be ‘fed’ more by God, but the thought of another night away from home to attend a Bible study left me feeling more tired than I already am. What a blessing it was to have Debbie come into choir practice one night and extend the invitation to join this study. It will be wonderful to have the discussions and accountability without the need to be away from home.
Thank you, Debbie. I look forward to the dance!
I’m very excited about this study and am ready to begin!
I am so looking forward to this study. As a college student who has just graduated my quiet time was put on the back burner for the last while. Somehow I seem to put that aside first when life gets busy. But I am so looking forward to this study and the motivation it has given me to start a quiet time again.
I look forward to drawing closer to the Savior with the 150 other women who are doing the study.
Debbie,
I anticipate growth in my spiritual life and intimacy with God as I participate in this online summer study. My need for the next few months is to replenesh, restore, and recreate. I believe A Heart That Dances will play a large part in that goal.
I look forward to sharing with others in their walk, too. Thank you for bringing us all together, Debbie!

I am so looking forward to exactly what the title says…Quiet Time…Quiet Time plus Intimacy with God equals blessings and continued awakenings of who He is and where He wants me to be…thanks Debbie for your willingness to see all of us through this.
Debbie,
My heart is already dancing! as I read the introduction in the book, your blog and the way Jesus is Living and moving as we seek this deeper, more intimate relationship with Him. May God bless you, Debbie, Catherine and all 150 of us who will be experiencing this study together this summer. He knew before we were each born that we would be at this point in our lives this summer and I know He will use His Word to make our hearts dance in sync to His rhythm even more.
Glenda
I am so looking forward to setting aside a daily time of intimacy to plumb the depths of God’s love and bask in His loving kindness. It is my hope that I can establish this time as a habit that will continue long after the Bible Study has concluded. Thank you, Debbie, for “choreographing this dance” for all of us.
It is truly a wonderful thing to put aside some time each day in the study of this book and God’s Word! I am learning so much and I look forward to each new lesson. Thank you Debbie for all your help.
I was excited to when my Sister In Law from Palm Desert said that Catherine is head of the Women’s Ministries at the church they attend. When I started reading the book and saw the references to the church near my Sister In Law I had wondered if it was their church and sure enough. What a blessing!!! The first few pages I’ve started and the Bible scriptures are so delightful to hear that God is seeking us and once that one on one with each of us by ourselves. A great idea from Catherine’s writting is that out of our daily time with the Lord alone is where we as a person stands up to all around and what shines thru from us is from what time we have allowed Him to shine into us…an important thought to me to remember…He truly is our life and strength.
