Dancers take your “places!”

Tie back your hair and dig out those shoes and prepare to “dance” the dance of a lifetime – for there will never again be another time in history that you will be able to dance this dance!  God has orchestrated this specific dance with you – in this company, in this place, and at this time!

My heart has already been truly blessed as you have shared on the blog – what an exciting way to communicate this summer!  A great big thank you to Catherine for creating Cath’s Community, so that we can meet there and share our hearts with each other!  Visit the blog anytime throughout the week by clicking  http://cathscommunity.com/category/aheartthatdances/ and feel free to make comments below my letter as God works in your heart!  To Him be the glory!

I am praying specifically that God helps us past our “good intentions” and teaches our committed willing hearts how to “BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD” during these next 8 weeks!  It is very true that the enemy who has it out for us in this world is not at all pleased that there are 230 women who have signed on to get to know Jesus more intimately through the power of the Holy Spirit residing in them, by setting aside a “time” and a “place” to become more closely acquainted with God Himself!  I am praying against that enemy who would rather we find ourselves too busy and unable to devote time to this challenge each day.  May it be “God who is at work in us, who will help us to want to obey Him, and then help us to do what He wants!” (Phil 2:13)  He wants to “dance” with us EVERY SINGLE DAY of our life!!!

Be intentional to  find that “time” and “place” this week as we begin this journey!  Acts 3:19 says “Times of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord.”  May you be refreshed by Him!

Be still and know,

Debbie Harris

Hi Debbie…Psalm 46 teaches me that God is in control and that I can find protection from Him in troubled times and strength to see it through. That He is with me always, that He is who He says He is, steadfast and unchanging. I like that He wants to take the burden from us and give us peace and calm. Barb Black

I have had some distance from God lately and I have not been attending church in some time, I pray that this bible study brings me back to the intimacy i have experienced with God in the past. I pray that it will bring back this hunger and desire for God

  3. It gave me chills to see that we begin our journey with Psalm 46. “Be still and know that I am God” is the verse I have clung to these last few months since my brother was diagnosed with liver cancer. I have that verse on a plaque in my bookcase and it calms me just to see it. I found those words from Psalm 46:10 on a little sculpture of a deer standing on a rock — and bought it for my brother. He told me recently that when he begins to worry about what is ahead, he reads those words and gives it to the Lord, again. God is SO good! I know He has given me this study for “such a time as this.”

    Dear Debbie, hello ladies!
I am so excited about this study! I have started and did already a few days, and I am already so much in love with it that I started to translate part of it into German, because I have girlfriends in Switzerland which I think should not miss out on the wonderful promises we have in God’s Word. I look forward how much our hearts are going to be dancing this summer. Thank you, Debbie, for making this possible!!! You are a wonderful friend, and a great sister in the Lord. Love you, my friend!!!

LOVE hearing your comments ladies! It showcases God working in our lives right before our very eyes!!! Beatrice that is so exciting to hear that you are translating part of the study into German. What a blessing you are to pass it along! My heart has been encouraged this week — dancing with you all!

Hi Debbie and all the ladies,
I am happy to be studying this. I loved the expression written on day 2 of week on about God being the “treasure of delight” and pray for myself and all of us to have our relationship revitalized as we study this summer. Please pray for me to be able to really find the “time” and “place” to be STILL and KNOW God. A lot of things going on at the same time in my life, this make it difficult for me to be still in heart not in my physical body.

love you sisters and have been blessed by knowing you in winter during our precept study.
